Southland has employed as many as 205 full-time experienced people with a wide variety of talents second to none in the construction industry. We perform services for both public and private clients with jobs ranging from $200,000 to $100 million.

 

Southland Construction, Inc. is looking for laborers with carpentry experience.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

​

• Assists with building wood and metal forms

• Assists with erection and wrecking of all forms

• Assists with setting and tying steel

• Assists with pouring and finishing concrete

• Knowledge of use of hand/power tools  

• Comply with Southland’s Safety Policies and Procedures
   

Required Experience

​

• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, and work from heights

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must be able to pass a drug screen

• Able to handle physically strenuous and demanding conditions

• Prepared to work in all types of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
