Southland Construction, Inc. is a general contractor providing vertical, heavy highway, and utility construction services in Florida since 1977. Southland has employed as many as 240 full time experienced people with a wide variety of talents second to none in the construction industry. We perform services for both public and private clients ranging from $200,000 to $100 million.
SERVICES
SCI offers a wide range of services not found in most construction companies. We can take any project from raw land to a fully developed property including civil improvements, storm sewer, utilities, and the building structures. Much of our work is self-performed and not simply subcontracted to a third party. This is particularly true in our civil disciplines where we routinely self-perform sixty percent of our work providing for greater schedule and quality control. We perform services for both public and private clients with jobs ranging from $200,000 to $100 million.
Southland's vertical construction division is a traditional general contractor and specializes in small to medium size construction projects, with a focus on retail and restaurant construction. We perform both new construction and renovations throughout the state of Florida. While we perform work on a competitive bid basis, a substantial portion of our work is negotiated.
We believe our clients are our most valuable assets. As a general contractor, we champion the client's overall objectives in project cost, schedule and quality.
